One of the LH Athletic Trainers, Mr. Zachary Patton will be traveling with us this weekend.

Regional Shirt/Sweatshirts:

There will be Regional shirts available for purchase if you'd like to send your swimmer with extra money for those. Sizes sell out quickly so I recommend you purchase your shirt early Fri.

Foodstuff:
Because we all know how swimmers like but also need to eat before they compete I want to give you a rundown of meals. The school provides $11.00/mealfor the meals. I'll be giving the swimmers cash. We'll also make a trip or two to HEB for swimmers to pick up fresh items they prefer. Please have your swimmer bring some extra spending money with them.

Meal Planning:

If anyone would like to help with meals, ordering/delivering, or providing a meal for the team please contact me to let me know. We have the following

  • Meal #1 - Friday Lunch

I'd like to go for a good meal as a team once we get to A&M on Friday before competing.

  • Meal #2 Friday Evening

This meal will need to be deliverd to the team poolside.

  • Meal #3 Saturday Breakfast

Hotel breakfast is included in the price of the room unless swimmers order from the menu or if we vote to go to another location for breakfast.

  • Meal #4 Saturday Lunch

I'd like to go for a good meal as a team before competing.

  • Snack Saturday

Coach Becker will provide a fruit and sandwich tray from HEB. Swimmers can supplement this meal with their own items.

  • Meal #5 Saturday Evening
  • Meal #6 Saturday Night on the way home:

We'll stop for a snack/meal somewhere on the way home. Swimmers can use their meal money to pay for this.

Extra Snacks:
We have granola bars, gummy snacks, Goldfish, trail mix, and Popcorn. Plus bottled water, and Gatorade for the team to have on deck. If anyone would like to add to any of these items please free to bring it when we meet at the high school to depart.

Phones: Similar to what some of our other sports teams at LHHS do for Championship games/meets, I will be picking up all swimmer's phones at 9:00 pm at the hotel. Our swimmers need to get a good night's rest and not be on their phones all night keeping up their teammates in the hotel rooms. Those can be close quarters. Swimmers will need to use the hotel alarm clock or schedule a wake-up call with the hotel rather than use the alarms on their phones.

If you have any questions or concerns please let me know. More info. on meal specifics to come.

Thanks,
Coach Becker
